Vikki Ann Rood
Vikki Ann Rood, 57, of Claysville, died on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in her home.
She was born on December 24, 1965, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of the late John and Victoria Kurmu.
Vikki had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and was currently working as a secretary, at Canonsburg Hospital.
She loved, and collected all things wolf-related, and enjoyed cooking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Jeffrey M. Rood; two sons, Joshua (Moriah) Smith, of Washington, and John (Kelly) Smith, Jr., of Washington; a brother, John (Sally) Kurmu, of Hamilton, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Tammy (Larry) Houston, of Prosperity; four grandchildren, Ian Smith, Caleb Smith, Meghan Smith, and Todd Bright; and a niece, Tori Kurmu.
Friends and family will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 20, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington.
There will not be a service.
