Concetta M. Nicolella
Concetta “Tina” M. Nicolella, 92, of Washington, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023. She was born March 28, 1931, in Washington, a daughter of the late Michael and Angelina Gallina Nicolella.
She graduated from Penn Commercial Business / Technical School with a secretarial degree.
Tina worked for Atlas Glass Company, where she retired after 35 years of employment.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, St. James Parish, and very active within her parish community.
Surviving are her beloved sister, Mary Nicolella of Washington; a sister-in-law, Diann Ritz-Nicolella of Washington; and two nieces, Kristen Shaw and Karen Wehmeyer. Several grandnephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, Tina was preceded in death by their beloved brother, John Nicolella.
Friends will be received at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, owner / supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, director, Holly Renay Warco, director, Park N. Crosier, director. A Mass will be held at 1 p.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, St. James Parish, 119 West Chestnut Street, Washington, PA 15301, with the Reverend George Chortos as celebrant. Interment will be private.
