Edmund J. Maloney
Edmund J. “Ed” Maloney, 79, of North Fayette Township, Imperial, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in Encompass Health, Sewickley. Ed was born May 1, 1944, a son of the late Agnes and John Maloney.
He was the devoted husband of 39 years to Barbara Maloney; beloved father to Dawn Dobrowski and husband Lance, the late April Snyder, who passed away July 11, 2008, and her husband, Edward who survives, and Sean Maloney; cherished grandfather to Joshua Dobrowski, Hope Andrews, Jordan Dobrowski, Seana Goozdich and husband Luke, Riley Maloney; adored great-grandfather to Grayson Goozdich; also survived by his first wife and friend and mother of his children, Mary Maloney.
Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and he previously worked at the 171st Air Refueling Wing at the Greater Pittsburgh Airport. He then retired from U.S. Airways as maintenance supervisor.
Ed was a long-time parishioner and usher at St. Isidore the Farmer Parish at St. Columbkille Church.

Family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 20, and 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, August 21, in the Herrick Compassionate Funeral Service, PC, Edward M. Herrick, supervisor / owner, 951 Cliff Mine Road, North Fayette Township, Imperial, 724-695-7332. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, in St. Isidore the Farmer Parish at St. Columbkille Church, Route 30, Imperial, PA 15126, followed by interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, with military honors at 1:30 p.m.
