Nathan E. Perani

Nathan “Nate” E Perani, 48, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday evening, October 22, 2023.

He was born August 11, 1975, in Washington, and was a 1993 graduate of Canon McMillan High School in Canonsburg, where he wrestled and played soccer. He received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 1997 from West Liberty University, and a master’s from Tiffin University where he became an adjunct professor at Tiffin University. He was hired by Judge Thomas Heydinger to work in juvenile probation and was instrumental in the Juvenile Intervention Court and obtaining grants for programs. He was also hired by Judge James Conway to be the court administrator and bailiff for the Huron County Common Pleas Court.

He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid Penn State, Penguins and Steelers fan. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughters, and friends, and he especially enjoyed music, golfing, all sports, mountain biking, and vacationing in the Outer Banks. He was known as a people person and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Nichole Kudlak Perani of Norwalk; daughters, Noelle Perani and Alyssa Perani, at home; his parents, Linden and Theresa Perani of Canonsburg; brother, Brian (April) Perani of Bruin; and a niece, Lindsey; his in-laws, Paul and Genny Kudlak of Norwalk.
