Gary Dean Pcsolinski, 72, of Langeloth, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, November 8, 2023, in his home.

He was born on July 1, 1951, in Erie Mine, a son of the late Paul and Ruth Cline Pcsolinski.

A 1970 graduate of the Union High School in Burgettstown, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving from 1971-1973 in the 10th Infantry. He was honorably discharged as a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal and several artillery badges.

Gary played and was an avid fan of fast pitch softball at the ballfield in Langeloth. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing and taking high rides around the area.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Diane Cumpston Pcsolinski, whom he married on August 29, 1992; his three children, Gary D. Pcsolinski II and wife, Amanda of Erie Mine, Shauna Johnston and husband, William of Burgettstown and Paula Pcsolinski and husband, Jimmy Fordyce of Joffre; four grandchildren: Savannah Pcsolinski, Logan Johnston, Miley and Peyton Fordyce; his former wife, Barb Slopek and husband, Bob; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, are two brothers, Carl and Paul Pcsolinski.

Family and friends are welcome from 12 until 3 p.m., time of a funeral service, on Saturday, November 11, 2023, officiated by Dr. Toni Harrington, in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., of Burgettstown, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. Inurnment with full military honors will be held in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made in his memory to his family in care of the funeral home.
