Starting this evening, beating the heat may be less of a feat in Peters Township.

Sincerely Yogurt, a self-serve frozen yogurt chain, will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6 p.m. at 3840 Washington Road, near Chipotle near McMurray Road.

The store will feature all-natural, nonfat and low-fat Greek-style yogurt that is gluten-free and kosher. The flavors will include alpine vanilla, Georgia peach, pistachio, and carrot cake.

Seasonal fruits can be added, such as strawberries and kiwi, along with toppings that include granola, walnuts, chocolate chips and M&M’s.

Customers will pay by the ounce.

They also can select from a variety of smoothies plus sorbet, seasonal specials, baked goods, soft drinks and juices.

Mike Mathias owns the 1,000-square-foot store.
