The Mary and Martha Joy Fellowship of Monongahela will hold its monthly meeting of praise and worship Aug. 7 in the parlor at First Presbyterian Church of Monongahela, Chess and Sixth streets.

Refreshments are served at 6:30 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7. A free-will offering will be taken. Enter the church from the Chess Street side.

The Rev. Patricia A. Cherry will be guest speaker. Cherry and her husband, Pastor Walter S. Cherry, founded New Dominion Birth Kingdom Ministries in Washington. She is a graduate of Shiloh Bible Institute and has served for eight years on the Women Without Walls Servant Leaders board.
