Two people were flown to Pittsburgh hospitals after a one-vehicle crash at 9:23 p.m. Tuesday on Fava Farms Road in North Bethlehem Township.

Police said driver Cody Ryan Bernett of Scenery Hill and passenger Jonathan Kirn of Cokeburg were injured when Bernett’s pickup truck rolled on its roof.

Police said the 1977 Ford pickup truck apparently was traveling at a high speed when it went off a curve.

Firefighters from Richeyville and Ellsworth responded to the scene, while firefighters from Bentleyville and Cokeburg set up a landing zone at the Cokeburg ballfield.

State police said the two victims were taken to UPMC-Mercy and Allegheny General Hospital, but spokeswomen for the two facilities had no record of their treatment.

State police said the crash remains under investigation.
