WAYNESBURG – Greene County Sheriff Brian A. Tennant released the following activity report for June.

• The office processed 77 civil actions and served 56 documents related to civil actions; it processed nine real estate sales and served papers related to eight real estate sales.

• The office processed six personal property actions and served documents related to six personal property actions.

• It processed 12 protection from abuse actions and served papers related to 10 protection-from-abuse actions.

• The office processed 70 licenses to carry concealed weapons. It processed 23 warrants and served six.

• The office transported 31 inmates for the Greene County Court. It also assisted nine outside agencies.

• The office engaged in seven special details, three Children and Youth custody assists and made five traffic stops resulting in five warnings.

• The office also participated in one countywide warrant roundup and conducted four high school security sweeps.

• Mileage traveled by deputies for the month was 4,475.
