FLORENCE, KY – Joe Staley and Rob Kelly drove in three runs each as Florence handed Washington a 12-3 defeat Sunday in a Frontier League baseball game.

Staley, Kelly and Michael Wilson all homered in the game for Florence (20-23), which took two of three games from first-place Washington (28-17) in the weekend series.

Peter Gehle picked up the win with 6 2/3 innings in which he allowed three runs, including an inside-the-park homer by third baseman Carter Bell.

Bell had a pair of hits for the Wild Things, including a double. Garrett Rau also had two hits for Washington, while Zach LeBarron took the loss, giving up five runs in three innings.
