Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges.
Appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:
William Orton, 59, 140 Eberle Road, Hickory; harassment; charged Dec. 2; sentence – 90 days of probation, anger management classes and no contact with victim.
Paul Peters, 50, 19 Alcorn Lane, Scenery Hill; simple assault; charged Jan. 19; sentence – 12 months of probation, anger management classes and no contact with victim.
Joel T. Quigley II, 25, 186 Laurel Ridge Road, Marianna; terroristic threats, simple assault and reckless endangerment; charged Dec. 14; sentence – 30 months in the Intermediate Punishment program with first 6 months of electronic home monitoring, guns and ammunition destroyed, mental health evaluation and treatment, anger management classes, domestic violence counseling and 50 hours of community service.
Ronald G. Johnson, 30, 335 Ridge Ave., Canonsburg; receiving stolen property; charged Aug. 28; sentence – 23 months of probation, 25 hours of community service and property returned to victim.
Aimee J. Golden, 40, 3603 Washington Ave., Finleyville; conspiracy to commit theft; charged May 4, 2013; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail with credit for time served and no contact with co-defendant and victim.
Scott R. Shaffer Jr., 22, 110 Allen Ave., Donora; criminal trespass and criminal attempt to commit theft; charged Sept. 8; sentence – 3 to 23 months in jail with credit for time served and two years of probation.
Steven A. Corbin, 24, 115 Parcell St., Claysville; simple assault; charged July 17, 2013; sentence – 12 months of probation and no contact with victim.
Jennifer D. Tustin, 36, 123 S. Jefferson Ave., Canonsburg; simple assault and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged March 14; sentence – 18 months of probation with credit for time served, mental health evaluation, anger management classes and no contact with victim.
Several people were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for first offenders. If they successfully complete the program they can petition the court to have their record expunged.
Jamie J. Belfiore, 51, 1347 Meadowbrook Drive, Canonsburg; admitted for 12 months for two counts of harassment; charged Oct. 23; no contact with victim.
James W. Drury, 31, 414 Castner Ave., Donora; admitted for 12 months for theft and defiant trespass; charged Nov. 17; no contact with victim.
Frank Auld, 41, 706 Sixth St., Marianna; admitted for 12 months for bad checks; charged March 10, 2013; restitution to Giant Eagle.
Ryan S. Havanis, 30, 10 Biddle Acres, Carmichaels; admitted for 24 months for receiving stolen property; charged Sept. 1; 100 hours of community service and restitution to California University of Pennsylvania.
Justin M. Jack, 38, 503 Fulton St., Wheeling, W.Va.; admitted for 6 months for false reports; charged Jan. 14, 2013.
Appearing before Judge Valarie Costanzo was:
Gregory A. Bayless Jr., 32, 1120 Sycamore Ave., Washington; theft by deception; charged Aug. 23; sentence – 12 months of probation and restitution.
Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:
William N. Sezawich, 35, 567 Bow St., Stockdale; criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Dec. 15; sentence – 24 months of probation.
David James Daniels III, 38, 54 Mancha St., Eighty Four; terroristic threats; charged Aug. 22; sentence – 3 to 23 months in jail with credit for time served, 100 hours of community service, domestic violence program and mental health evaluation.
Michael J. Andresky, 26, 904 Thompson Ave., Donora; criminal attempt to commit sexual abuse of children; charged July 5, 2012; sentence – 6 to 12 months in jail, deemed sexually violent predator, comply with lifetime Megan’s Law registration, no contact with victim or family and mental health evaluation.
Jennifer J. Nelson, 43, Washington County Correctional Facility; theft by deception; charged Oct. 14; sentence – 24 months of probation and restitution.
Two people were admitted to the ARD program for first offenders.
Samantha M. Fink, 20, 3433 Fawn Valley Lane, Finleyville; admitted for 12 months for driving under the influence; charged March 17.
Cody R. Miller, 21, 209 Rock Hollow Road, Claysville; admitted for 12 months for driving under the influence; charged Aug. 13.
