County sheriff releases July report

WAYNESBURG – Greene County Sheriff Brian A. Tennant released the following activity report for July:
• The office processed 91 civil actions and served 85 documents related to civil actions; it processed 12 real estate sales and served papers related to 10 real estate sales.
• The office processed seven personal property actions and served documents related to five personal property actions.
• It processed nine protection-from-abuse actions and served papers related to nine protection-from-abuse actions.
• The office processed 66 licenses to carry concealed weapons and served six warrants.
• The office transported three SCI-Greene inmates and also assisted three outside agencies.
• The office engaged in seven special details, made three traffic stops resulting in three warnings and made six arrests.
• Mileage traveled by deputies for the month was 4,830.
