REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (AP) – Prosecutors said no criminal charges will be filed against a man accused of posing as a Transportation Security Administration agent and privately screening two women at the San Francisco International Airport.

San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said Friday the San Francisco man will not face charges in the alleged incident July 15.

Wagstaffe said it’s illegal to impersonate a police officer, but not to impersonate a TSA agent.

He said his office opted not to file charges because investigators have not been able to track down the two women and have not found surveillance footage of the incident.

The 53-year-old man was arrested at a security checkpoint in the airport’s international terminal after bringing two women into a screening room.
