Washington woman injured in one-vehicle crash

A Washington woman was taken by ambulance to a local hospital Monday following a one-vehicle crash on Armstrong Drive in Canton Township.
According to state police, 35-year-old Jessica Yanniello was driving east on Armstrong Drive just before noon Monday when her vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a utility pole. After hitting the pole, her vehicle continued to travel through a grass yard before it came to rest after striking a tree. She was taken by ambulance to Washington Hospital for treatment.
Police said Yanniello will be cited for driving outside of her lane and for not wearing her seat belt.
