Magician headlines CAS fundraiser

Mike Super, who is appearing on Season 9 of “America’s Got Talent” and stars in the NBC TV show “Phenomenon,” will headline Community Action Southwest’s fundraiser, which will be held from 2:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 4 in the Trinity High School auditorium.
Super is the only magician in history to win a live magic competition on primetime U.S. network television. He was voted America’s Favorite Mystifier and has pioneered a new form of magic that transcends the “trick.”
Most recently, he received the Merlin Award after being named the Entertainer of the Year for two consecutive years. Other recipients have been David Copperfield, Penn & Teller, Criss Angel and Siegfried and Roy.
