HARMONY (AP) – A man is dead after an explosion and fire ravaged his mobile home outside Pittsburgh.

The blaze burned for more than two hours Thursday night on Beahm Crest Lane in rural Jackson Township.

Firefighters say the victim was in his 70s. They haven’t released his name.

Assistant Fire Chief Dale Hall tells KDKA-TV the fire appeared to start in an outside wood burner next to the mobile home.

No one else was injured. A state fire marshal is investigating.

Jackson Township is about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh.
