MARYSVILLE (AP) – Police say a 9-year-old central Pennsylvania boy went shopping with a credit card he found on the sidewalk.

Pennlive.com reported Saturday the boy found a lost credit card belonging to a North Carolina woman on a sidewalk in Marysville, Perry County, on Nov. 29.

State police say the boy used the card to make purchases at a gas station and pizza shop.

Police did not say how much money the boy spent.

Authorities say the case is being treated as a theft.
