Mitch Fitzgerald’s pin at 170 gave Peters Township the biggest lead of the dual meet and Peters Township held on for a 39-37 win over Mount Lebanon in a Section 2-B match in Class AAA.

Mount Lebanon won the final three weights but came up two points shy of tying and three short of winning.

Dan Florentino (113), A.J. Buckiso (126), Phil Mary (132) and Luke Mary (138) each had pins for the Indians, who are 2-0 in the section.

Brian Perri (120), Sam White (145), Sean Perri (152), and Bakhtiyar and Zeynul Zaynullayev (Hvy) had pins for Lebo.

Chartiers-Houston 48, South Park 28: Taking advantage of six forfeit wins, Chartiers-Houston defeated South Park 48-28 in a Section 1-A dual meet in Class AA.

Brett Grimm (195) had a pin for the Bucs (1-0, 1-0). Brandon Weil (120) and Robert Wolak (Hvy) had pins for the Eagles (0-1, 0-1).

Beth-Center 41, West Greene 36: Beth-Center recorded three pins and one technical fall to cap a 41-36 victory over West Greene in a Section 2-A dual meet in Class AA.

Bruce Leonard (138), Anthony Welsh (182) and Nico Brown (195) won by fall for the Bulldogs (2-0, 2-0). Jason Stay (160) won by technical fall.

Sheldon Phillips (120), Doug Berdine (145), Donovan Weaver (152), Owen Main (220) and Will VanNorman (Hvy) had pins for West Greene.

Trinity 42, Chartiers Valley 24: Trinity won three of the final four bouts to take a 42-24 victory from Chartiers Valley in a Section 4-A dual meet in Class AAA.

A.J. Marino (120), Cameron Reynolds (138), Justin Ritter (170), Robert West (220) and Austin Fife (Hvy) each had a pin for Trinity (1-1, 1-1).

Michael Resignalo (145) and Collin Eger (152) had pins for the Colts, who are 0-3 in the section.

McGuffey 58, Bentworth 12: McGuffey won seven of the final eight bouts to roll past Bentworth 58-12 in a Section 2-A dual meet in Class AA.

Luke Shingle (152) had the only pin for McGuffey (2-0, 10-2), which received five bouts by forfeit.

Riley Nickleson (160) had a pin for Bentworth, which is 0-2 in the section.

Burgettstown 59, Laurel 12: Capturing all five heavyweight bouts, Burgettstown routed Laurel 59-12 in a Section 1-B dual meet in Class AA.

Tristan Nicholson (182) won by technical fall and Brandon Krynak (220) had a pin for the Blue Devils in that run. Burgettstown also got forfeits at 170, 195 and heavyweight.

T.J. Smith (106), Austin McDermitt (126) and Darrell Bails had pins for the Blue Devils.

Luke Ostermeyer (152) had a pin for Laurel.

Burgettstown 61, Ellwood City 18: Burgettstown won nine of the first 10 bouts to cruise past Ellwood City, 61-18, in a Section 1-B dual meet in Class AA.

Darrell Bails (132), Austin Riffle (138), Evan Pethel (152) and Brad Hucik (220) had pins for Burgettstown (3-0, 3-0).

Zach Power (120) and Christian Kerr (145) had pins for Ellwood City.

Waynesburg 53, Moon 19: Waynesburg won nine of 14 bouts on the way to a 53-19 win over Moon in a Section 4-A dual meet in Class AAA.

Getting pins for the Raiders (6-1) were A.C. Headlee (132), Shaun Wilson (138), Terry Victor (160) and Colin McCracken (182). Moon won the first two bouts before Waynesburg took six straight, including two by forfeits. Cole Rush (120), Logan Henderson (126) and Shane Piper (152) won by decision for the Raiders.

Logan McQuaid (145) won by technical fall for Moon, while Jared Puhalla (220) got the Tigers’ only pin.

Jefferson-Morgan 72, Mapletown 3: Jefferson-Morgan only needed victories on its way to a 72-3 victory over Mapletown in a Section 2-A dual meet in Class AA.

Mapletown forfeited eight bouts and its only victory came from Seth Shubert (145) by decision. The Rockets (1-1, 4-4) got five pins from Gavin Teasdale (113), Austin Goldsberry (138), Trevor Kniha (160), Parker Woodring (170) and Ian Wolfe (Hvy).
