Two men who drove themselves to Washington Hospital after being shot near a Monessen social club early Monday have been identified as Washington residents.

Monessen police identified the men as Romonte Barfield, 25, of 1140 Maple Terrace, and Edward Sadler Jr., 24, of West Hallam Avenue. They were treated for gunshot wounds at Washington Hospital before being transferred to a Pittsburgh hospital.

Police said they do not have a suspect or motive for the shootings and do not know why the men were in Monessen, which is about 25 miles from Washington.
