Two women, baby hurt in three-alarm Pittsburgh house fire

PITTSBURGH (AP) – A woman and a baby were hospitalized after firefighters rescued them from the second floor of a burning Pittsburgh home.

Firefighters say another woman was also injured in the three-alarm blaze around 4 a.m. Thursday in the city’s Point Breeze section.

The women were listed in critical condition at West Penn Hospital. The infant is in stable condition.

Five people escaped the home unhurt.

An investigation is continuing.
