Needle & yarn craft workshop will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 13 at Citizens Library, Washington. The project will be a pearl scarf pin with a valentine theme. All supplies will be provided. Participants are asked to bring a pair of scissors. Fee is $3. Registration is required; call Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation at 724-228-6867. Refreshments will be provided.

Love Birds, a homeschool outdoor classroom, will be held Feb. 14 at Mingo Creek County Park, Route 136, park office. Two sessions are available: 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Reservations are required; call Washington County Parks & Recreation office at 724-228-6867. Fee is $1. The program is designed for homeschooled children 5 to 11 years old.

Bentleyville Public Library will host the first meeting of the Bentworth Seed Lending Library Initiative at 6 p.m. Feb. 19. Monetary and seed donations are welcome to build the seed collection, which will be available to the public in the spring. For more information, call the library at 724-239-5122.

Chartiers-Houston Library is selling chances to win the American Doll of the year, Saige Copeland. Cost is $5 for three chances. The drawing will be held Monday, March 18. For more information, call the library at 724-745-4300.
