Troopers seize $107M in drugs

HARRISBURG (AP) – Pennsylvania state troopers seized $107 million in illegal drugs last year, nearly double the amount they seized in 2013.
In the last three months of 2014 alone, troopers confiscated more than 1,000 pounds of marijuana and more than 7,500 prescription pills. They also seized 27 pounds of heroin.
Authorities say they’re aiming to take even more illegal drugs off the streets in 2015.
