Seminar for women veterans planned

A seminar for women veterans considering becoming entrepreneurs, will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Hilton Garden Inn, Southpointe.
“Women Veterans Marching Forward: Call to Entrepreneurship” is being sponsored by Seton Hill University’s E-Magnify women’s business center, the Business and Professional Women of Pennsylvania and Huntington Bank are sponsors for the event.
Ana Recio Harvey, assistant administrator for U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Women’s Business Ownership, will deliver the keynote address.
The event, which is open to the public, will also include a variety of other presentations, as well as a panel discussion among women veterans business owners and moderated by Comdr.. Lindsay Weaver-Marcenelle, U.S. Coast Guard, that will share how their military training, experience and leadership increased their chances for success in business.
