CMU gets $30M grant for energy research

Carnegie Mellon University announced Thursday it has received a $30 million grant for energy research.

The grant comes from the Richard King Mellon Foundation.

The grant, according to a news release, will boost the Wilton E. Scott Institute for Energy Innovation’s efforts at “improving energy efficiency and developing new, clean, affordable and sustainable energy sources.”
