Jim McCune has been elected a partner at Bowles Rice and has been named manager of the firm’s Southpointe office.
He has been practicing in Washington County for 39 years and is a trustee and founding chairman of the Washington County Community Foundation, Inc.; a former president of the Washington County Bar Association; and a trustee and current chairman of the Washington County Bar Foundation. McCune represents individuals and businesses in general legal matters, as well as real estate law, energy law, commercial lending, and title insurance. He received his undergraduate degree from Kent State and his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law.
ECS Mid-Atlantic LLC, a consulting engineering firm specializing in geotechnical, environmental, materials testing and facilities services has opened its newest branch office at 500 Bursca Drive, Suite 506, Bridgeville. The office will provide consulting engineering services for clients in western Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. Market segments served include communications; commercial/residential; financial; local, state and federal government clients; healthcare; transportation; industrial and manufacturing; utilities and energy; and education. The office will be led by Jeffrey Shelton, P.E., a native of the Pittsburgh area, with more than 17 years of construction, design and development experience.
Sara K. McIlvaine has joined her father, Robert K. McIlvaine, owner and supervisor of the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Houston, as a licensed funeral director. She is a 2006 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School, received a B.S. degree in chemistry from Bethany College in 2010 and an associate degree in specialized technology from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2011.
