HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Pennsylvania’s public utility regulators have an idea to save money on Black Friday.

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission said this week it wants to remind consumers that they can shop for an electric or natural gas supplier, and it could save them money on their home heating or lighting bill.

The utility commission says all the information about shopping and switching is at PAPowerSwitch.com and PAGasSwitch.com.

It says all that’s required is entering your zip code. Then a shopper can review the prices, products, terms and incentives from suppliers making offers in the area.
