Yogurt franchise opens Tuesday at Trinity Point
Yogurt lovers may soon satisfy the munchies at Menchie’s.
Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt will make its Southwestern Pennsylvania debut at 11 a.m. Tuesday when it opens a store at Trinity Point between Sunsation Tan and Wong’s Wok. The shop will have a seven-day grand opening, from Nov. 9 through Nov. 15, featuring giveaways and family activities.
Tim Jamison is the franchisee of the South Strabane Township store. Hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

A sign on a store window says, “C’mon in and mix it up!” – a reference to all of the sweet and nutty things that can be added the the frozen concotion.
Menchie’s, based in Encino, Calif., opened its initial store in 2007 in a Los Angeles suburb.
It proclaims on its website, www.menchies.com, that “we are the largest self-serve yogurt franchise in the world, and we continue to grow.”
