Chamber plans manufacturing discussion

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce and Catalyst Connection will present a panel discussion entitled “Manufacturing 2015,” from 7:45 to 9 a.m. Sept. 19 at Hilton Garden Inn, Southpointe.

The event, part of the chamber’s “Breakfast Briefing” series, will feature four of the region’s top manufacturers as they discuss the challenges, opportunities and future of manufacturing in Pennsylvania and across the nation.

Panelists include Ian Sadler, president and CEO, MCC International, Inc.; Jim Johnson, facility manger -underground mining operations, Caterpillar Global Mining America LLC; Lisa Kruzan, human resources manager, U.S. Corrugated; and Steve Ross, vice president, Universal Electric Corp.

The panel will be moderated by Petra Mitchell, president and CEO of Pittsburgh-based Catalyst Connection, which works with small- and mid-sized manufacturers across the region.
