Pennsylvania casino slots revenue dips in November

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said Wednesday gross revenue from slot machines at the 12 casinos fell 3.44 percent in November.
According to PGCB, November revenue from slot machines totaled $183,441,906 compared to the $189,970,652 generated in November 2013.
Tax revenue generated by the play of slot machines during November of this year was $97,829,129.
November saw slots revenue fall by 9.61 percent at The Meadows Casino, from the 18,007,638 reported in November 2013 to $16,277,962 last month.
Pittsburgh’s Rivers Casino also saw its November slots revenue decline by $.08 percent, dropping from $22,013,080 a year ago to $22,949,773 last month.
Lady Luck Casino at Nemacolin Woodlands was a big percentage gainer, up 44.87 percent, moving from $1,7272,815 last year to $2,503,044 in November 2014.
The PGCB said the average number of slot machines operating throughout Pennsylvania at the 12 casinos was 26,376 in November, compared to 26,581 in November a year ago.
