Washington Winery opens on Main Street

Washington Winery opened amid grape expectations.
The store debuted Thursday at 415 S. Main St., downtown Washington. It shares a location with A&M Wine & Beer Supplies.
A Washington couple, Angela Magliacane Burgess and John Burgess, own both businesses. They purchased A&M, which will mark its 10th anniversary this month, in July 2012.
Washington Winery will have a variety of dry and sweet wines. Its hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The winery will be closed Sunday and Monday.
There also will be wine tastings from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and all day Saturday.
