Hotels are hot on Racetrack Road, with 1,034 rooms existing or under construction along a 1 1/2-mile stretch. The eight currently standing have 792 rooms; two others totaling 242 will likely join them over the next year. A hotel also is possible in the ongoing Park Place at the Meadowlands. A breakdown:
