Ulta coming to Crown Center
The complexion of Washington Crown Center is changing again – this time in a literal and figurative sense.
Ulta Beauty, which promotes itself as “the largest beauty retailer” in the United States, will be coming to the North Franklin Township mall. A late fall opening is anticipated.
It will be joining Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts and Ross Dress for Less as new Crown Center stores in 2014. Jo-Ann is anticipated this summer, Ross this fall.
They will be following Marshall’s, which debuted in late 2013.
Ulta will occupy 11,000 square feet. According to a news release, the store will feature “more than 20,000 prestige brands of cosmetics, fragrance, hair care, skincare, bath and body products, and salon styling tools, as well as a full-service salon.”
Michael Joyce, general manager of Crown Center, said in a prepared statement: “Ulta Beauty will bring the latest beauty trends closer to home … Our growing tenant mix is echoing our commitment to providing shoppers with access to name-brand and designer fashions, accessories, home goods and now beauty products at affordable prices.”
