Job fair coming to Tanger
Two stores are coming to Tanger Outlets, so it is an appropriate time for a job fair.
A semiannual Tanger Outlets Job Fair will run from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday. A number of stores are hiring for full-time, part-time and seasonal positions that include management, sales associates and merchandising.
Candidates may fill out applications, talk with hiring managers and, perhaps, get immediate interviews. Tables will be near entrances to participating stores.
Work is under way on Express Factory Outlet, with a targeted opening of late June. Express Factory specializes in women’s and men’s apparel and fashion accessories, and has more than 600 stores in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. It recently opened its first outlet store at Tanger Outlets National Harbor in Washington, D.C.
The local store, with about 9,000 square feet, will be at the main entrance near Brooks Brothers and Coach Factory, and in space previously occupied by Calvin Klein.
Vitamin World also is expected to open this summer in a 1,000-square-foot space across from the Ann Taylor Factory Store. Construction began recently.
Washington’s venerable Donley Brick Co., in business since 1902, is opening a second location on East Pittsburgh Street in Greensburg. Suzanne McAnallen owns the business, which locally is on Stewart Avenue.
• Canonsburg attorney Michael Brant, with Brant & Associates P.C., was certified in Washington County as a specialist in workers’ compensation law. He was certified by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section.
• Herman J. Bigi, of Bigi & Walsh in Charleroi, received a 50-year member award from the state bar association in Harrisburg last week. PBA was honoring members for leadership, service and longstanding membership.
