Local distributor hosts warehousing event

National Manufacturing Day has inspired two days of a warehousing event at Hartman Independent Co. in Lawrence, Cecil Township.

Hartman, a distributor of packaging and fastening products for construction and industry, is opening its warehouse and retail store to customers and the general public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

There will be products for sale and demonstrations of tools and fasteners. Hartman is at 93 Mayview Road.
