Sporting goods store headed to Crown Center

A national sporting goods company plans to play ball at Washington Crown Center.
Hibbett Sports has signed a lease with the North Franklin Township mall. It is shooting for a summer opening and intends to employ eight, either full- or part-time.
It currently has three locations in Pennsylvania, including on Sugar Run Road in Waynesburg.
Hibbett Sporting Goods, Inc., is a publicly traded retailer based in Birmingham, Ala. The company has about 1,000 stores in the U.S., all in small to mid-sized markets and mostly in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest.
