New firm Primetals coming to Southpointe

A new company, Primetals Technologies, is coming to Southpointe.

The firm, a joint venture of Mitsubishi-Hitachi Metals Machinery and Siemens VAI Metals Technologies, has signed a 10-year lease for 52,000 square feet in the Stealth II building, 501 Technology Drive, Southpointe I. Burns & Scalo Real Estate Services Inc., which brokered the deal, made the announcement Thursday.

Primetals is an engineering and plant construction company based in London.

Laurus Corp. is the landlord.
