Giant Eagle unveils remodeled store today

The remodeled Giant Eagle in Strabane Square will have a ribbon-cutting at 9 a.m. Thursday.
New features at the store, off Route 19 in South Strabane Township, include: Sizzling Wok, with fresh-to-order stir fries and Thai dishes; expanded prepared food selection; a draft beer station and 200 varieties of craft beer; Café and Beverage Bar with indoor and outdoor seating; expanded organic produce; aged beef; and a live lobster tank.
There will be St. Patrick’s Day celebration starting at noon Saturday, with live music, face painters and balloon artist creations.
