The Meadows Racetrack & Casino, already one of Washington County’s largest employers, said Friday it plans to add 90 full-time, part-time and seasonal positions as its business continues to grow.

The North Strabane Township entertainment, gaming and racing venue, which employs about 1,400 people, said in a news release it made significant investments while providing additional entertainment options which created the need for additional positions.

The casino said it experienced an accelerated growth of business in many areas, including its Triple Crown banquets & conference center, summer concert series and other special events.

“Employment and economic development has always been a primary focus of our business,” said Sean Sullivan, vice president and general manager of The Meadows Racetrack & Casino. “Employees are the heart of our success. We are proud to offer additional opportunities for individuals who can become a part of a team that is committed to superior customer service.”

The casino said it offers a highly competitive wage scale in the hospitality industry and lucrative benefits packages for full-time employees.

It is seeking candidates for full-time, part-time, extra board and seasonal employment opportunities within food and beverage, environmental services, slots, casino cage, security, Meadows Lanes (bowling), table games, warehouse, accounting, Players Club, racing and information technology.

Current positions include network administrator, cook, bartender, Player’s Club attendant, revenue audit clerk, slot technician, cage cashier, warehouse attendant, bar back, beverage server, banquet server, banquet houseman, EVS attendant, pantry, table games dealer, kitchen worker, bus person, food server, banquet food server, host cashier and security officer.
