Model Cleaners furthers expansion efforts

Charleroi-based Model Cleaners will open its 13th facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremoney from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday at 1187 Freedom Road, Cranberry.
The ceremony, held in conjunction with the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber, will mark the opening of Model’s GreenEarth environmentally friendly fabric care center that offers same day dry-cleaning service, free pickup and delivery service.
Model Cleaners Executive Vice President Dan Lacarte said in a press release the new Cranberry site will be the company’s second facility to open in the North Hills area.
Founded in 1986 in Charleroi, Model Cleaners is Pittsburgh’s largest family owned dry cleaning operation with 13 locations offering free pickup and delivery services to 70 communities in Western Pennsylvania.
