Ansys reports solid third quarter
Southpointe-based Ansys Inc. announced Thursday that revenue grew 9 percent in the third quarter.
The engineering simulation software manufacturer reported earnings of $66 million and a profit of 72 cents per share — which, adjusted for amortization costs and stock option expense, was 90 cents a share.
It reported revenue at $237.8 million.
Ansys President and CEO Jim Cashman said the third-quarter results “demonstrate the company’s ability to execute effectively and to continuously drive growth. Despite currency headwinds and varying macroeconomic conditions around the world, our diversified business model and predictable, recurring revenue streams enabled us to produce solid top and bottom line results.”
