Learning center coming to Southpointe
An educational facility for children with special needs is planned for Southpointe.
Horizon Properties Group will be developing The Hope Learning Center on property next to Iceoplex. It will be a 45,000-square-foot facility that will provide education, day care and pediatric offices for children in kindergarten through 12th grade.
A target date for construction has not been determined.
Hope Learning Center is a nonprofit based in Wexford. It also has a hub in Peters Township, near Arlecchino Ristorante off Route 19.
“This child care facility will be a significant asset to Southpointe and the surrounding region,” said Rod L. Piatt, CEO of Horizon Properties, in a statement.
