Meadows sees July slots revenue increase 3.02 percent
Slot machine revenue at Pennsylvania’s 12 casinos rose in July to $213,423,774, according to the latest report from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
The PGCB said Tuesday that the latest revenue count was 1.1 percent higher than the $211,008,864 collected in July 2015.
Among those making a bigger contribution was The Meadows Casino. The North Strabane Township venue saw its gross terminal revenue increase 3.02 percent, from $19,866,039 a year ago to $20,466,041 last month.
Pittsburgh’s Rivers Casino saw its slots revenue decline by 1.69 percent, to $23,930,891 in July, while Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin in Fayette Couty experienced a 3.26 percent increase to $3,113,070.
According to PGCB, tax revenue for July was $113,792,368.
The average number of slot machines operating in Pennsylvania was 26,646, compared to 26,324 in July 2015.
