Meadows sees slots payouts increase by $1M
MEADOW LANDS – The Meadows Casino said Wednesday it paid nearly $1 million more in slot jackpots in July 2016 ($9,932,797) compared to July 2015 $9,024,192.
According to a news release from the North Strabane Township gaming and entertainment venue, year to date jackpot payouts are more than $68.6 million through the end of July (2016 YTD – $68,612,566 vs. 2015 YTD – $61,771,629), which is on pace to become the largest annual jackpot payout for the facility.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced Tuesday The Meadows slot machines revenue increased by 3.02 percent, from $19,866,039 a year ago to $20,466,041 last month, the second highest in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
