Horizon unveils plans for Kennedy Twp. property

Horizon Properties Group has announced plans for a property it purchased this year in Kennedy Township.

The Southpointe-based firm said in a news release Wednesday it will remodel the former SmithKline Beecham building and erect two other structures on the 16-acre property, located off the Crafton exit of Interstate 79.

In addition to renovating the two-story, Class-A office building with 105,000 square feet of space, Horizon plans to build a 35,000-square-foot flex office building and a nationally branded hotel.
