Studio Seven a finalist in national hairstyling awards competition
Studio Seven in North Franklin Township has been named a finalist in the North American Hairstyling Awards competition presented by the Professional Beauty Association, which will be presented July 9 in Las Vegas.
Studio Seven, which is owned by Alisha Deluca, is competing in the Salon/School Design of the Year category, in which entrants submitted before and after photographs of their redesigned and renovated workspaces. The local salon, which completed its renovation in 2016, will compete with four other finalists in the category, which drew 1,500 entries from around the country.
The awards ceremony is part of PBA Beauty Week, North America’s largest beauty event, offering networking, education and professional growth opportunities to all sectors of the beauty industry.

Melissa Hall and Josh Hannold have joined Southpointe office of Bowles Rice LLP. Hall is a 2006 graduate of Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. She received her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University with a major in international politics and a minor in Japanese. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Hannold also received his bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University, majoring in psychology, and earned his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
Washington-based Fairmont Supply, one of the largest distributors of industrial maintenance, repair and operation supplies in the United States, has appointed Brian Saenz as vice president and general manager of the company’s Piping and Equipment subsidiary. With locations throughout the Gulf Coast, Piping & Equipment is a national industry leader in the distribution of industrial pipes, valves, fittings and related equipment. Saenz will be responsible for growing sales, oversight of the distribution center operations, managing profitability and supporting the integration of acquisitions. Saenz, who will be based in Houston, Texas, joins the company with more than 15 years of leadership experience and a proven record of building high-performance teams and improving company profitability and efficiency. Most recently, he was global director of sales and national accounts at Bain Capital/APEX Tool Group. Prior to APEX, he spent 12 years with W.W. Grainger in various sales and operations leadership roles. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in general business from West Texas A&M University and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
