GACO to sponsor seminar on requests for proposals
CALIFORNIA – California University of Pennsylvania’s Government Agency Coordination Office is sponsoring a seminar on “Understanding a Request for Proposal” from 9 a.m. to noon on July 25 at the Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory, 626 Cochrans Mill Road, South Park.
At this seminar, Suzanne Thomas, procurement officer, Allegheny County Sanitary Authority, will review a federal government RFP and isolate what needs to be addressed in an offer. She will discuss the similarities between a federal RFP and bidding requirements at ALCOSAN. Finally, she will discuss how companies can bid with ALCOSAN.
The seminar is free but pre-registration is mandatory by July 21. No walk-ins will be accepted.
