Fairmont Supply names Fichiera new CEO

Fairmont Supply said Wednesday it named Paul Fichiera as its new chief executive officer.
According to a news release, Fichiera will be based out of Fairmont’s corporate headquarters at 437 Jefferson Ave., and will be responsible for the overall management and growth of the company and its subsidiaries.
Fichiera is an industrial supply veteran with more than 20 years of experience, most recently at FleetPride, the largest distributor of aftermarket truck and trailer parts in the United States. At FleetPride, Fichiera served as a vice president and led a $250 million business unit more than 600 employees and 60 branch locations across 12 states. Earlier, he served in executive leadership positions with HD Supply and GE Supply.
Fichiera started his career as a consulting manager with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting). While at Accenture, he led teams that introduced B2B digitization and eCommerce capabilities to the oil/gas industry.
Fairmont Supply, one of the largest distributors of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation supplies in the United States, was founded in 1921 and is headquartered in Washington, with 15 distribution centers and on-site store management locations throughout the United States.
