The Walmart store in Franklin Township, outside Waynesburg, is one of 14 Pennsylvania locations the company is going to remodel this year.

Walmart announced Wednesday it expects to spend about $49 million this year on the 14 stores, including the one at 405 Murtha Drive – along with several in-store and online innovations. The location will be one of only three to be refurbished in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

The facelifts are part of a capital expenditures guidance of about $11 billion the company has committed to in fiscal year 2019.
