Sarris opening a store at Pittsburgh International

Sarris is preparing for landing at Pittsburgh International Airport.

The renowned local chocolate-maker plans to open a retail store May 22, and it will be at Pittsburgh International Airport.

“This is an exciting opportunity to showcase our products and make it easy for travelers to pick up some chocolates,” Bill Sarris, president of Sarris Candies, said in a prepared statement.

The Canonsburg-based business is partnering with Hudson Group, one of the largest travel retailers in North America, in the endeavor. The new store will feature products available only at the Canonsburg shop. The new store will be in PIA’s the airport’s airside building near the escalators.
