Penn State Extension will offer an information workshop, “Shale Royalties Management,” for Washington County landowners who want to be enlightened on how current drilling production and utilization trends can affect royalties.

There will be two sessions of the workshop Wednesday – from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. – in the 4-H Building at the Washington County Agricultural Fairgrounds, 2151 N. Main St., Washington. Identical content will be presented at the sessions.

Presenters will be Dan Brockett, Penn State Extension Shale Team educator; Andrew Gans of Rockcliff Capital LLC; attorney Steve Feldbauer; and Mark Gibbons, certified public accountant of Urish Popeck & Co. LLC.

Pre-registration is required at extension.psu.edu/shale-royalties-management-workshop-for-washington-county-landowners, or by calling 877-345-0691. Questions regarding program content should be sent to Brockett at dlb14@psu.edu, or to Carol Loveland at cal24@psu.edu or 570-320-4429.
